Traditionally, after the initial risk assessment, customers are rarely incentivized to change their lifestyles, leading to healthy customers subsidizing those that become less healthy over time. With the adoption of Dynamic risk profiling we could use real time data to streamline and accelerate life insurance underwriting, and also engage the customers by informing them on how physical activity or exercise can improve their health. The Biological Age Model, or “BAM”, will enable insurers to offer an evidence-based approach to encourage and reward customers to live healthier lives.
